The mount for Type 2 EV charging cables (IEC 62196) secures the in-vehicle cable coupling between the charging ports and ensures that the cable is not damaged outside of the charging process. Securely fastened to the wall, the bracket protects the charging coupler from dirt and damage that would occur if it were stored on the floor, e.g. in a garage. This extends the life of the charging cable and keeps the socket and cable clean.
