Der SDS-plus-5 Bohrer gestattet müheloses Bohren. Für eine reibungslose Arbeit ist die Hartmetallplatte mit Rillen versehen und besitzt Kerben, die das Material leichter durchdringen und ein Festfressen im Beton verhindern. Die Activteq-Zentrierspitze sorgt für aktives Schneiden in Beton und einen präzisen Lochdurchmesser. Darüber hinaus reduziert die AWB-Hartlöt- und Härtungstechnologie die Vibration beim Bohren, um eine starke Belastung des Verwenders zu minimieren. Der Bohrer ist für den Einsatz in Mauerwerk und Beton vorgesehen. Er ist kompatibel mit Bohrhämmern mit SDS-plus System.
Um präzise Ergebnisse zu erzielen, ist anhand der Verschleißkennzeichnung zu erkennen, ob der Lochdurchmesser noch innerhalb der Toleranz für die Dübel liegt.
