Wirewin® patch cables of category 6A comply with the values according to ISO / IEC 11801 Ed.2. This allows a data transfer of 10 GBit / s. Category 6A is specified with 500MHz. The cable for these patch cables is double shielded. Each pair is in its own foil shielding and above is again a braid shielding. This structure is often referred to as PIMF (pairs in metal foil / pairs in metal foil) or as S / FTP. The jacket of these cables is made of halogen-free material and therefore is flame-resistant. Yellow Category 6A RJ45 plugs with gold-plated contacts surrounded by a special Wirewin® bend sleeve to protect the pawl while allowing easy pushing of the pawl.
