Mounting Tape for Brick & Stone 10kg/m
tesa® Mounting Tape for Brick & Stone 10 kg/m has been developed specifically for permanent mounting of things like house numbers on solid surfaces, even outdoors. It’s super easy to use – you don’t need any tools other than a pair of scissors – and ensures a permanent, strong hold. Under optimum conditions a single 10-cm strip can hold up to 1 kg.

tesa® Mounting Tape for Brick & Stone 10 kg/m is a great way to mount objects permanently on rough and solid surfaces whether indoors or outside. It's resistant to humidity, temperatures as low as -10C and as high as 40C and also UV radiation. A single 10-cm strip can, under optimum conditions, hold up to 1 kg.
How to apply – Step by step
- Use a brush to get rid of dust and grit from your surface. This will ensure an optimal bond.
- Check if the surface or the object is rougher and apply the mounting tape to it.
- Apply the mounting tape in vertical strips corresponding to the full length of the object and press down firmly all along the tape for at least 5 seconds.
- Remove the protective foil and, being careful not to touch the exposed adhesive area at any time, position the item.
- Press down firmly on the item for at least another 5 seconds to get as close a bond as possible.
No tools needed
tesa® Mounting Tape for Brick & Stone has been specially developed for use on solid surfaces outdoors. You won’t need any tools (just a pair of scissors) – this humble roll of tape is all you need to get things like house numbers attached on the wall, permanently. Under optimum conditions a single10-cm strip can hold 1 kg.
How to remove
Since the mounting tape is designed for permanent hold, it is not made to be removed. If you have to remove it try to tear it carefully, slowly and parallel to the surface. Residue may remain on the object or the surface. To remove the residue use tesa® Adhesive Remover.
Mounting Tape for Brick & Stone 10 kg/m is a mounting tape for masonry. For solutions to mounting on tiles, metal, wood, glass and other surfaces, please use the Product Finder and refer to our other tesa® Smart Mounting Solutions. Not suitable for any non-stick materials.
