The Kaiser MultiTrig AS 5.1 combines – as the designation already indicates – five functions in one unit: a wired shutter release, a wireless shutter release, wireless release of flashguns and studio flashes, transmitter TTL pass through, and so-called auto-sensing.

With combined remote releases for cameras and flashes it happens quite often that the user forgets to advise the unit what unit to control right now (camera or flash), so this is a rather common source of errors. The auto-sensing function of the MultiTrig makes this dispensable, because it chooses the correct function automatically.

The TTL pass through function enables the transmitter – attached to the camera's hot shoe - to pass the camera's TTL signals to a flashgun mounted on top of the transmitter. This works with Canon's E-TTL and Nikon's I-TTL flashes.
