Albrecht has consequently applied the European R&TTE directive and it’s possibilities, which has replaced the former national approval mark systems by the European CE marking system. All Albrecht Multi-Standard CB radios have a country switch system and can be used in most European countries in (minimum) one of the 3 or more available switch positions: It depends on the member state’s frequency application, which of the country switch position(s) you may use in the region where you are: 40 CH FM everywhere and in some countries, which do not
yet allow AM or SSB, 40 FM/40 AM/40 SSB in nearly all countries (the EN 300 433 Standard) and 80/12 (covering the additional German channels 41 to 80 inside of Germany except base station use in defined border regions).
