A set of radios that can operate in PMR 446 (446MHz) mode with 0.5W power, but also on 448MHz frequency with 2W power. With a powerful 1300mAh battery, you can go on multi-day expeditions and still stay connected. There are 8 channels available for communication, each of which can be further operated with 121 codes (38 CTCSS codes and 83 DCS codes). The codes are used to filter out extraneous subscribers transmitting on the same channel. The walkie talkie also includes a channel monitoring function, the data is displayed on a large and clear display.
With 2W of power in the 448Mhz band, the Free Talk 2W has a range of up to 15km and is ideal for use in the outdoors, on a trip to the mountains, or even for working on a construction site or in the woods.
The 2W power is not only important for longer range. Power also plays an important role in maintaining the high quality of the transmitted sound. The 448MHz band receives the transmitter's voice in excellent sound quality.
