The 70mai S500 dashcam is a device that combines video recording with rear-view mirror functionality in combination with the RC13 rear camera. With this solution, you get the ability to monitor the current situation in the rear of the vehicle while recording what is happening around you. Placing the camera on the rear view mirror from the factory eliminates the need for additional space and does not negatively affect the driver's field of vision. With the rear view camera, you get a clearer view of the rear of the vehicle than with a standard mirror.

Dual-channel HDR recording
The advanced dual HDR imaging system, which includes front and rear cameras and is enhanced by the exclusive MaiColor Vivid+ SolutionTM algorithm, excels at capturing clear detail even in difficult lighting conditions, such as difficult night lighting or a sudden flash of light when exiting a tunnel.
In the front view, HDR technology effectively balances light and dark areas to create a more natural image and ensure clear capture of details such as license plates and traffic signs.
When viewed from the rear, HDR reduces the intense light from vehicles driving behind, improving the legibility of number plates

The camera's wide-angle lens provides a comprehensive view of 3 lanes, front and rear, minimising blind spots and ensuring you don't miss a thing and feel confident behind the wheel.
9.35" fully laminated touchscreen
The 70mai S500 camcorder features a large display where the physical buttons have been replaced with touch controls, allowing for smarter and more intuitive operation. Use touch gestures to simplify operation - swipe left or right to adjust the screen brightness, and swipe up or down to move the image in the frame. In addition, there's the option to switch between left and right steering wheel mode, so you can tailor the device perfectly to your needs.
Flexible display options
The screen offers a variety of display options, such as splitting the screen between front and rear camera views, displaying the rear camera within the front camera view, and seamlessly switching the view between the front and rear cameras.
Voice control
Use voice commands to take a photo, arrange a recording, turn the screen on or off and switch seamlessly between front and rear camera views without taking your hands off the wheel.
Buffer for emergency recording
If a collision occurs while driving, the camera starts a 5-second pre-recording and continues recording for 25 seconds. The emergency recordings are saved in the "event" folder and will not be overwritten by normal recordings, allowing accident reconstruction.
Parking mode
In parking mode, when a collision is detected by the G-sensor, a 30-second video recording of the incident is recorded as evidence of the event.
In addition, the dashcam records continuous footage at a rate of 1 frame per second in parking mode, saving space on the memory card by compressing every 30 minutes of video to just 1 minute. This allows for faster playback of footage and searching for moments of interest.
To use the parking mode function, you must connect the 70mai Hardwire Kit UP02 power module, sold separately.
Loop recording
The newest video files automatically overwrite the oldest, creating permanent free space on the memory card. Emergency recordings in the buffer and emergency recordings recorded in parking mode are stored separately in the event folders and looped independently without overwriting regular recordings.
Real-time display when reversing
When reversing is engaged, the camera automatically draws the parking assistance lines, making this manoeuvre much easier. In addition, you can flexibly adapt these assistance lines to any vehicle type or camera position.
Adaptable design
