The FTP Cat.5e network cable is an excellent choice for building local networks. The package contains 50 meters of this high-quality cable, which supports Fast Ethernet applications at speeds of 100 Mb/s and Gigabit Ethernet reaching 1000 Mb/s. The cable consists of 4 twisted pairs, which eliminates electromagnetic and mutual interference. The wires are made of pure copper with a thickness of 24 AWG and are surrounded by a PE coating. The diameter of each insulated wire is 0.97 mm. Additionally, the cable is shielded with aluminum foil and has an extra grounding wire. Twisted pair is often used in CCTV installations, where one cable can transmit video signals from multiple cameras as well as power.
