Housegard Luma is a wireless, networked smoke alarm that provides effective and flexible fire safety for your home. The package includes 2 smoke alarms that can be connected wirelessly to each other, so that all connected alarms are activated if one of them detects smoke. This means you’ll receive a quick warning even if a fire breaks out in another room or on another floor.

The smoke alarms use an optical detection chamber and emit a loud alarm sound with a volume of at least 85 dB. The Luma system can be expanded to include up to 40 interconnected devices, making it suitable for both smaller apartments and larger homes that require multiple detectors. The wireless range is up to 100 meters in an unobstructed space.

A major advantage of the Housegard Luma is its built-in 10-year battery. This eliminates the need for constant battery replacements throughout the smoke alarm’s lifespan. When the battery is nearing the end of its life, the alarm will notify you so you know when it’s time to replace it.

Installation is easy, and 3M adhesive tape is included so the smoke alarm can be easily attached to the ceiling. The test and mute functions make it easy to check the alarm and temporarily silence it as needed.

The Housegard Luma can be used without a hub as a standard hardwired smoke alarm, but the system can also be expanded with a separate Luma Hub. With the hub, the alarms can be connected to a smartphone, allowing you to receive notifications if an alarm is triggered, among other things. This provides a flexible solution that can be adapted to your home’s needs and expanded over time.
