The LevelOne GVT-2011 Gigabit Media Converter Switch provides 1 RJ45 and 2 SFP ports to support conversion between 10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-X networks. With the two SFP ports, the converter switch provides high reliability and flexibility to extend the media transmission distance up to 550m, 20km, or longer depending on the SFP fiber optical transceivers. It allows the two types of segment to connect easily, efficiently and inexpensively.
The GVT-2011 works in high performance Store and Forward mechanism, and prevent packet loss with IEEE 802.3x Flow Control (Full-Duplex) and Back Pressure (Half-Duplex) functions. As the GVT-2011 Media Converter fully complies with IEEE 802.3 10Base-T, IEEE 802.3u 100Base-TX, IEEE 802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE 802.3z 1000Base-X, the Gigabit media converter installation is quite quick and easy by simply plug and play.
- Transfers data from 10/100/1000Base-T copper to fiber interfaces - SFP slot supports pluggable Gigabit optic modules that enabling you to choose from a variety of transceiver - IEEE 802.3x Flow Control protects against lost packets for reliable data transmission - Supports low-time lag transmission - 10°C to 55°C operating temperature range
