Levenhuk MED calibration slide

The Levenhuk MED calibration slide is a microscope accessory that is used for the calibration of image analysis programs. It is a piece of transparent glass with a micrometer scale etched onto the surface. The scale is located in a circle and is clearly visible under a microscope. The minimum division is 0.01mm. The calibration slide makes it possible to quickly adjust the program to take measurements in the preferred measurement units.

The Levenhuk MED calibration slide can be used with all brands of microscopes.

How to use the calibration slide:

1. Fix the slide on the microscope stage.


2. Rotate the revolver to select the working objective.


3. Set the camera to shooting mode at maximum resolution, and then take a photo of the scale.


4. In the image analysis program, select the calibration mode, use the mouse to indicate the maximum visible distance, and then enter the resulting value in real units.


5. Enter the name of the calibration and double-check the values.


6. If everything is done correctly, the program will remember the correction factor, and in the future, it will independently convert the values into the required units of measurement.
