Longshine Electronics Longshine LCS-2.5GS7108 is an 8-port 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to bring faster wired connectivity to small offices and dense device environments. It supports 2.5GBase-T on all eight RJ-45 ports, allowing compatible devices to operate above standard Gigabit speeds while remaining backward compatible with existing networks. The switch is designed for flexible installation as a desktop unit or mounted on a wall and uses an external power adapter for convenient placement.
Built for dependable everyday use, the switch includes a 16K-entry MAC address table and 12 KB jumbo frame support to handle larger packets and improve performance for traffic-heavy applications. Auto-uplink with MDI/MDI-X, crossover detection, and auto-correction simplify cabling and reduce setup time, while standards compliance with IEEE 802.3 family protocols and certifications such as FCC, LVD, and VCCI Class B support interoperability and regulatory requirements. Environmental tolerance and a mean time between failures rating of 50,000 hours provide predictable operation within typical office temperature and humidity ranges.
