4U-450 Rackmount server case, 19" IPC server computer case
The IPC 4U-500 is a high quality server case designed for mounting in a 19" rackmount enclosure. The front panel is covered by a hinged metal door with a locking option. When the panel is closed, only the indicator LEDs are visible through the transparent part of the door. When the door is hinged, the other controls are available.
On the front side, two USB 3.0 port connectors are located behind the door (the USB cable to the motherboard is also equipped with a tap for possible connection to older MBs with USB2.0. Furthermore, on the front panel we find LED indicators for Power ON/OFF, HDD and Power/Sleep and Reset buttons.
The cover and the base of the skeleton on the outside of the case is painted black, which eliminates any scuffs and protects your hands during assembly, while the interior, HDD and ODD holders are not, to ensure perfect conductive connection of the components. The HDD and CD/DVD drive bays are removable, making them easy to assemble.
There are 3x 5.25" positions for drives, panels, etc., and 8x 3.5" and 7x 2.5" positions for HDDs and SSDs. All common ATX motherboard types from ITX, micro ATX to full ATX can be fitted.
Cooling of the case is solved by one 120 mm front fan and two 80 mm fans in the back of the case (all fans are already fitted).
Removable dust filter and lockable door are fitted. The sides of the cabinet are then pre-tapped with threaded holes for mounting 450 mm (18") linear ball bearing extensions (skids) with a 900 mm (1") extension. E.g. recommended RL450.18.
