Tracing de-energized cables and live wiring in the ground or in walls
The Ermenrich Ping SM100 is designed for tracing cables in walls and ceilings as well as cables buried underground. The maximum detection depth is 2 meters (6.6ft). The device can find de-energized and energized cables, i.e. it can be used to trace cables hidden under plaster, map cable lines, find drilling locations, etc. The cable tracing is performed with crosstalk protection.
The device includes a transmitter and a receiver, the sensitivity of each unit can be adjusted individually. Both devices are powered by rechargeable batteries, and a charging cable is included. The Ermenrich Ping SM100 comes with earbuds, which will come in handy when working in noisy environments.
