The Ermenrich Reel PRO GL100 laser meter is used by professionals and amateurs in construction, repair, and engineering work to measure the various parameters of the environment, living rooms, and premises: distance, length, area, and volume as well as verticals and angles. The measurement is accurate to within ±1.5mm thanks to a laser with a wavelength of 500–535nm. The laser is green, which is more visible in daylight compared to the classic red.

The meter offers several versatile functions that enhance usability. Users can easily add or subtract from the current measurement with a single button press. The voice-over mode reads the measurements aloud that are displayed on the screen. The Pythagorean theorem function calculates the distance between two points based on intermediate measurements (a valuable capability for work in challenging conditions with limited access to convenient measurement locations). Units of measurement for length, area, and volume are configurable: meters (linear/cubic/square), feet (linear/cubic/square), and inches. Angles are measured in the range of 0° to 180°.

The Ermenrich Reel PRO GL100 laser meter is powered by a built-in lithium battery that provides 3 hours of continuous operation. The laser automatically powers off after 30 seconds of inactivity and the entire device powers down after 120 seconds.
