The UTP Cat.5e network cable is a product that is perfect for building local networks. The length of the cable is 50 meters, making it a very functional solution. This cable supports Fast Ethernet applications, achieving speeds of 100 Mb/s, and Gigabit Ethernet, with speeds of 1000 Mb/s. It is constructed from four pairs of twisted wires, which effectively eliminate electromagnetic interference. The wires are made of pure copper with a thickness of 24 AWG and are surrounded by a PE coating, while the diameter of each insulated wire is 0.9 mm. The outer jacket of the cable is made of PVC with a thickness of 0.5 mm.
The key features of the UTP Cat. 5e cable are its length of 50 m, the PE coating, and the outer PVC jacket with a thickness of 0.5 mm. These features make the cable durable and resistant to damage, which is crucial for use in various environments.
The outer PVC coating, or polyvinyl chloride, is a synthetic polymer with thermoplastic properties. It is highly resistant to mechanical damage, allowing the cable to be used outdoors. Additionally, the packaging is equipped with a self-unrolling reel, which allows for convenient cable deployment without the worry of tangling.
The Extralink CAT5E UTP (U/UTP) V2 cable is designed for indoor use, making it an ideal solution for offices. It is also frequently used in CCTV installations, enabling the transmission of video signals from multiple cameras and power through a single cable.
