Dual chargers are designed to charge 20 V batteries and allow two batteries to be charged simultaneously (independently).
The charger charges, monitors and evaluates the charging of each battery independently of the other battery.
The charger can simultaneously charge batteries with different capacities.
The battery with the lower capacity will be charged before the battery with the higher capacity.
The chargers have electronic over-current protection, over-charge protection, over-temperature protection, fault indication and automatically stop charging when the battery is charged.
Therefore, the battery cannot overcharge if it is inserted in the charger even after it is fully charged.
The charger connectors are not energized unless the battery is inserted in the charger.
