The UPS Interface Expander 2 provides two additional computer interface ports for a UPS with a SmartSlot™. This enables the UPS to provide a graceful system shutdown for connected servers or other devices during an extended power outage via PowerChute Serial Shutdown. The Interface Expander 2 also monitors the UPS and reports power events in the PowerChute software.
