The sonero video capture dongle X-AVT200 converts an incoming HDMI signal into an H.264 compatible USB 2.0 signal that can be captured or streamed directly on the PC. The compact dongle with HDMI-A female input and USB-A 2.0 male output connects directly to a USB port on the PC and is also supplied with power via the same port, so that no separate power supply is necessary. On the input side, HDMI 1.4 AV signals with up to 10.2 Gbps and a resolution of 4K@30Hz can be captured and output at max. 1080p@60Hz at the USB-A side. Any signal that meets these specifications and is not copy-protected via HDCP can be processed. Thanks to the universal H.264 video codec, it is Plug&Play compatible with the vast majority of capture software, such as OBS.
