The original The Scent Eau de Toilette was launched in 2015 and was created by perfumers Bruno Jovanovic and Pascal Gaurin. The newer version retains the series' signature fragrance DNA, but comes in an updated and more modern design. The Scent is inspired by the slow build-up of attraction between two people. It opens fresh and energetic, develops in an exotic and slightly sweet direction and ends with a warm, masculine leather accord. The mood is elegant, confident and seductive without being too heavy. This makes the scent ideal for work, dinner, dates and special occasions. New and old version The newer version of HUGO BOSS The Scent builds on the original fragrance from 2015. The basic character of the fragrance has been preserved, so that the combination of ginger, maninka fruit and leather is still clearly recognizable. However, the new version can be experienced as slightly warmer, rounder and more modern in its expression, while the older version was often perceived as lighter and more aromatic. The newer bottle has also been given an updated design and is refillable.
