ONYX BOOX Go Color 7 (Gen II) is a compact 7-inch eBook reader with a color screen and a high-performance hardware platform. The model has an E Ink Kaleido 3 screen with adjustable backlight and dual touch controls: capacitive and Metal Mesh. The reader is based on a powerful 8-core processor and 4 GB of RAM and features high speed. ONYX BOOX Go Color 7 (Gen II) runs on Android 13 operating system and allows the installation and use of third-party applications. A built-in dual-band Wi-Fi module allows access to the Internet and use of various network services, and Bluetooth 5.1 support allows connection of external devices. The model has 64 GB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot, allowing you to store a large number of books and other files directly on the device. You can listen to audiobooks and music files using the audio player program, and the Text-To-Speech feature lets you read text files aloud. The reader is made in a slim, compact case with handy paging buttons on the side panel and has protective ONYX Glass. The model supports a stylus for handwritten notes and drawings, which can be purchased separately. With an enlarged color screen and the ability to write handwritten notes, the model is suitable for those who plan to combine book reading and document work with color images.

What is the E-Ink Kaleido 3?
The E Ink Kaleido 3 screens display 4096 colors in color mode and 16 shades of gray in black and white mode. Optimization of the display structure has allowed us to increase colour saturation by 30% compared to the previous generation. The E Ink Kaleido 3 uses E Ink Print Color ePaper technology, in which a color filter array (CFA) complements the E Ink Carta 1200 base and displays a full-color image.

Screen backlighting
MOON Light 2 technology allows you to use the device in the dark or in low light conditions without damaging your eyesight. This feature produces a soft screen light that is optimal for reading in dark rooms. This front lighting system has colour temperature control and screen flicker is completely eliminated thanks to Flicker-Free technology.

What is MOON Light 2?
Recent research has shown that blue light inhibits the production of melatonin (the regulator of circadian rhythms), which is essential for human sleep. This is why it is often difficult to fall asleep after reading on the glowing screen of a regular tablet or smartphone. MOON Light 2 allows you to independently adjust the brightness of the cold and warm LED light, and you can choose white light for reading during the day and more yellow light for reading before bedtime.


Format support
The BOOX software allows you to open a variety of different text and image formats. You can change font style and size, page placement, add bookmarks and zoom in on documents at will while reading.

Audio player and TTS
The device has a pre-installed audio player that allows you to listen to music or audiobooks. To use it, just touch your finger to launch the corresponding audio file. You can also connect headphones or external speakers either via Bluetooth or via the USB Type-C connector. The device supports TTS (Text-To-Speech), which can be used to vocalise text files.

Easily record content
In addition to the standard method of copying files to the device using a USB cable, you can use Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and QR code to transfer files. The cloud-based PUSH service BooxDrop is also available.
