It can be attached to a keychain or placed around the home—such as on a dining table, bedside table, or in children’s rooms—ensuring a shortcut button is always within reach. With a single press, you can control lighting, open the garage door, or activate lock and security functions. The device uses Bluetooth for instant response and includes built-in Zigbee for integration with third-party Zigbee platforms. The BLU Button Tough 1 ZB is IP54-rated, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Each button supports up to four actions: single press, double press, triple press, and long press. Features: Control of relays, dimmers, scenes, and automations, Compatible with Home Assistant and other BTHome-supported platforms, BLE technology with encrypted communication, Adjustable click sound feedback, “Find me” function via beacon mode, Range up to 30 meters, Shelly BLU devices require a gateway for network access. Any Shelly Pro, Gen3, or Gen4 device, as well as the Shelly BLU USB Gateway, can serve as a gateway. If you already have a Shelly device on your Wi-Fi, it will automatically act as a gateway for BLU devices. Shelly BLU Button Tough 1 ZB can be configured through the Shelly Smart Control app and integrated with more than 200 smart home ecosystems, including Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, and Athom Homey.
