EVOLVEO CoolGuy Laptop Stand
How to get your laptop at eye level so you don't slouch at your desk while working or playing? Forget the stack of books, shoebox or other fussiness and go for a more professional solution. It's called the EVOLVEO CoolGuy, and it's a special steel stand that can become a stable podium for your laptop to show off at its best. It will give any laptop or tablet up to 17" diagonal enough space to "breathe" while relieving you of your perpetually bent back.
The stand can support devices up to 5kg, so it can handle regular laptops, powerful gaming machines and larger tablets. The surface area for placing your device measures 26 × 21 cm.
UltraSteel: a design that won't budge
Stability is key. This is true in buildings, relationships and laptop stands. That's why EVOLVEO CoolGuy relies on the robust UltraSteel steel construction that is as strong as a rock. So no vibrations, wobbling or swaying. Just long life and perfect stability that the laptop maintains on the stand, even when you're typing more briskly or reacting more sharply in the heat of the game.
The base of this stand measures 24×19 cm and has 4 non-slip silicone feet on the underside to keep the entire structure firmly on the desk.
It adapts to you, three times at once.
The design of the EVOLVEO CoolGuy is parallelogram. If that word doesn't ring a bell, just know that it's a sophisticated four-joint mechanism. Thanks to it, you can easily adjust the height of your laptop surface (from approximately 3 to 16 cm) - you can raise the display to eye level and stop hunching over your desk. Thanks to the parallelogram design, the computer remains in the optimum position at all times.
Add to this an adjustable tilt angle and a 360° swivel base and you have a stand that adapts perfectly to you. Thanks to micro-rotation, the base rotates smoothly, but ultimately stays exactly where you stop it - no spontaneous rolling when you lean on your desk. Whether you're sitting at a desk, lounging in a chair, or showing someone a presentation or game stats, you can always adjust the display to your exact needs.
Ergonomics for your back, neck and eyes
The ergonomically adjustable design of this laptop stand helps maintain proper posture - bringing the display to eye level and your hands into a more natural position. When working, playing or studying for long periods of time, this can significantly relieve back pain, neck strain and eye fatigue. Instead of improvised stands, you get a thoughtful solution that's good for you and your body.
A cool head even when the action is hot
When the big things start happening in the game or at work, the temperature inside your laptop rises quickly. That's why EVOLVEO CoolGuy relies on a practical passive cooling system that uses the design of the base itself to maintain optimal temperatures. The board underneath the laptop is cleverly fitted with ventilation vents to ensure efficient heat dissipation and smooth air circulation around the bottom of the device.
There are 10 cross vents on the base, including one extra-large cooling vent measuring 13.4×4.9 cm. This acts as a wide "exhaust" for warm air, helping to prevent the laptop from overheating when playing demanding games, working with professional graphics and long online meetings. Because it's pure passive cooling with no fans, you don't have to worry about any noise, whirring or humming.
When the laptop isn't going anywhere
When you put your laptop on a stand, you don't want it sliding back and forth like ice. That's why EVOLVEO CoolGuy has silicone elements that secure your electronic device from all important sides.
The silicone supports protect the bottom edge of the laptop from scratches and also reliably prevent the computer from slipping (even at a higher inclination). A pair of side silicone pads then protect the underside of the laptop and eliminate unwanted movement during typing or intense gaming. Add to that the base's non-slip feet, and you have a stand that holds your laptop firmly, doesn't slip, and stays exactly where you need it.
Packed in one, ready to go
Despite its sturdy construction, the EVOLVEO CoolGuy stand is perfectly prepared for travel. Its foldable design makes it easy to fold into a compact form, so it fits comfortably in your backpack next to your laptop. The weight of 1.76 kg matches the honest steel construction, but still remains manageable for frequent moves between office, home and coworking.
Another great advantage is that adjusting the stand to the desired angle or height requires no loosening or subsequent tightening of screws. You can easily adjust the stand to a position that suits you by hand and the joints hold it securely.
