The XGIMI Elfin Flip Plus offers the ideal combination of a compact design, high-quality images, and smart features that let you enjoy large-screen projection virtually anywhere. This portable projector is designed to offer maximum flexibility—both at home and on the go—while maintaining high image quality and simple operation.
Its design is a major advantage. At just 6.35 cm thick and weighing around 1.1 kg, the device looks more like an elegant book than a projector. The built-in stand, which can rotate up to 150°, allows for easy adjustment of the projection angle, including ceiling projection. It also serves as lens protection and a practical carrying handle.
Image quality is based on native Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080), which provides a sharp and detailed picture for watching movies, TV shows, and multimedia content. A brightness of 500 ISO lumens allows for comfortable viewing, especially in the evening or in dimly lit conditions. The combination of a 4000:1 contrast ratio and wide color coverage (121% Rec.709) ensures vivid colors, realistic skin tones, and sufficient image depth.
The projection size can reach up to 200", which significantly surpasses standard TVs and allows you to create a true home theater experience. The 1.2:1 throw ratio ensures flexibility in placement, even in smaller rooms.
The projector is equipped with Google TV featuring officially licensed Netflix, which means instant access to streaming services without the need for external devices. In addition to Netflix, other popular apps such as YouTube and Prime Video are also available. The integrated system also supports screen mirroring via Google Cast or DLNA.
A major benefit is the Intelligent Screen Adaptation (ISA) technology, which significantly simplifies use. The projector automatically adjusts focus and keystone correction, ensuring the image is always properly aligned and sharp without the need for manual adjustments. The eye protection feature further enhances safety by reducing brightness when it detects a person in the projection beam.
Audio is provided by two 2×3 W speakers with Dolby Audio support. The result is clear and balanced sound suitable for everyday viewing. Although it’s not a full-fledged replacement for a home theater system, it offers very good audio performance for a compact projector.
The Elfin Flip Plus also caters to gamers, who will appreciate the gaming mode with a latency of around 20 ms (without correction), which enables smooth gameplay. When automatic functions are enabled, the response time increases but remains acceptable for casual gaming.
The XGIMI Elfin Flip Plus is ideal for users looking for a lightweight, portable, and modern projector with high-quality images and simple controls. It shines best during evening viewing, in smaller setups, and in situations where flexibility and design are important.
