FRITZ!Box 6850 4G Edition International

Fast Internet via Mobile Network

The FRITZ!Box 6850 4G Edition International provides a fast internet connection via 4G/LTE with data rates of up to 300 Mbit/s while also offering dual-band Wi-Fi 5. As a versatile hub in the home or office network, it reliably connects a wide range of devices such as computers, smartphones, tablets, televisions and printers.

The FRITZ!Box 6850 4G also offers convenient telephony, intelligent security features, comprehensive Smart Home functionality via DECT ULE and the powerful FRITZ!OS.

Maximum Flexibility for Optimal Reception

To ensure a reliable connection even under changing network conditions, the FRITZ!Box 6850 4G supports 11 4G (LTE) bands and three 3G (UMTS/HSPA+) bands. If required, external mobile network antennas can also be connected to optimise reception quality.

An integrated alignment assistant helps users find the ideal location and the best positioning for the antennas. Another useful feature is the ability to selectively choose individual mobile network bands, providing greater control, stable performance and optimal use of the available network resources.

Wi-Fi 5 and Mesh Wi-Fi with FRITZ!

The FRITZ!Box 6850 4G uses dual-band Wi-Fi to transmit simultaneously on the 2.4 GHz band with Wireless N and the 5 GHz band with Wireless AC, providing total data rates of up to 1266 Mbit/s.

When combined with a FRITZ!Repeater or FRITZ!Powerline device with Wi-Fi, users benefit from Mesh. FRITZ! devices throughout the home operate within a single network, exchange data with each other and optimise the performance of all wireless devices.

Communication and Entertainment Throughout the Smart Home

The FRITZ!Box 6850 4G combines comprehensive communication and multimedia features. The integrated VoIP telephone system supports conventional telephone connections, up to six DECT phones and smartphones, together with features such as answering machines and phone books.

With the DECT base station, FRITZ! Smart Home products for heating and energy can be easily integrated.

In addition, the FRITZ!Box 6850 4G features an integrated media server with NAS support, making films, music and images stored on USB storage media or online services available for streaming to playback devices throughout the network.
