It is equipped with a protective contact (grounding), which, in the event of insulation damage or voltage appearing on the housing of the connected device, directs dangerous current to the building's protective system, not the user. This significantly reduces the risk of electric shock and serious damage to the devices.
Additional protection is provided by a built-in 10A fuse. In the event of an overload or short circuit, the fuse cuts off the power, protecting the adapter and connected devices from overheating and permanent damage.
