The Angel™ SmarTUBE X is Pirelli's latest innovation in the world of tubes, designed for protection and comfort in everyday driving and fast urban commuting. The Angel™ SmarTUBE X is made of TPU material that can save up to 70% weight while being stronger than butyl as a raw material. This product is three times stronger than the standard SmarTUBE and allows the cyclist to be more agile while being extremely protected. Angel™ SmarTUBE X comes with either a Presta or AUTO valve and is available in a wide range of heights to fit every rim and setup.
Intended for: city bikes, endurance bikes, marginally light gravel bikes (intended for use on all types of city/commuting or endurance riding - ideally in combination with Pirelli Angel tyres)
Material: TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) Further development of Pirelli TPU, now with even lower hysteresis for lower rolling resistance, at the same weight and compact volume.
