Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition can only be played on Nintendo Switch 2. If the physical or virtual game card is used on a Nintendo Switch console, you can play the Nintendo Switch version of the game without the additional features exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

If you already own Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch, you can purchase the upgrade pack to play the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.

Prepare for the Ether Jet

Explore the vast worlds of Bionis and Mechonis at high speed with the new Ether Jet vehicle. In addition to serving as a faster means of transportation in both the main game and Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected, you can participate in the Nopon Grand Prix, competing in time- and score-based races throughout the open world.

The Ether Jet can be unlocked by completing the "world-changing whatchamajig" quest, which becomes available from Chapter 4 onward.
