This sensor is ideal for automations—both for energy savings and for home security as part of an alarm system. Shelly BLU devices require a gateway for network access. Any Shelly Pro, Gen3, or Gen4 device, as well as the Shelly BLU USB Gateway, can act as a gateway. If you already have a Shelly device on your Wi-Fi, it automatically serves as a gateway for BLU devices.
