The InLine® HDMI KVM Extender over IP Transmitter is the transmitting unit of an HDMI KVM-over-IP system and is operated exclusively in conjunction with the InLine® receiver unit, item 57886H. It is connected to an HDMI signal source and feeds the HDMI, USB and IR signal into an IP-based 1 Gigabit network.
The system supports a maximum resolution of up to 4K @ 60 Hz with 4:4:4 colour sampling and a video bandwidth of up to 18 Gb/s. Common HDR formats and current HDCP versions are supported.
Operation can be as a direct point-to-point connection or via a suitable network switch with Gigabit support. Multiple receiver units output identical image, USB and IR signals without the need for manual assignment.
In addition to HDMI transmission, USB 2.0 signals for KVM operation and bidirectional IR control signals are also transmitted. Firmware updates and system functions are conveniently carried out via the integrated service connection.
