Molex Nichia LED Array Holders
Molexs LED Array Holders are ideal for OEM light-fixture manufacturers, they simplify the Nichia CoB-L LED installation process and reduce installation time through the use of compression contacts that eliminate the need for hand or SMT soldering and expensive SMT equipment. Using unmatched interconnect technology, Molexs LED array holders provide a solderless solution for mounting Nichia CoB-L LED arrays into OEM designs using wire trap terminals for the power cables to allow serial or parallel sequences. The holders allow Nichia CoB-L LED arrays to be quickly installed into fixtures, enable field replacements and facilitate upgrades to current applications. Molex LED array holders are ideal for applications including: Architectural lighting, Area lighting and Down lighting.
Low-profile 4.1 mm design
Compression contacts to power array
Optical Clearance Area (OCA) sufficient for electrical and thermal connections without interfering with light output or beam angle
Wire-trap terminals to attach power source, suitable for wire size 18AWG or 20AWG solid recommended or if stranded wire is used then pre-tinned is recommended
Releasable wire trap for rework or replacement
Array secured into holder with Integrated Pre-Hold Tab
Screw-mount attachment of LED array and holder to heat sink using M3 or 4-40 UNC screws
Provides voltage isolation between LED and heat sink
Stable connection in high-ambient temperature
Ideal for Downlighting or Area lighting
Allows for field serviceability
