The new FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor (Edition International) is specifically designed for outdoor use with its robust IP54-rated housing. With Wi-Fi 6, 2 × 2 MIMO and data rates of up to 3000 Mbit/s, it provides fast and stable connections in the garden, on the patio or on the balcony.

Thanks to Power over Ethernet (PoE+), the repeater is also ideal for indoor use and can flexibly extend the Wi-Fi network to locations where no power sockets are available.

With Gigabit LAN, Mesh convenience, regular updates, a 5-year warranty and the proven FRITZ!OS, the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor is a versatile expansion solution for demanding Wi-Fi environments both outdoors and indoors.

Robust for Outdoor Use – Easy Installation

With its compact, IP54-rated housing, the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor is protected against dust and splashing water and is suitable for changing weather conditions.

Two adapters are included – white for outdoor use and red for indoor use – allowing easy and secure installation in a variety of locations.

The included flat LAN cable can easily be routed through many windows, making it ideal for quick outdoor installation.

When the repeater is used outdoors, it is always connected to the FRITZ!Box via LAN. A LAN cable is required for the connection to the FRITZ!Box and can be connected through a FRITZ!Powerline device with a LAN port, an additional repeater or directly to the PoE power adapter of the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor.

Maximum Indoor Flexibility with PoE

The FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor is powered using Power over Ethernet (PoE+). This allows the repeater to be installed flexibly, for example in hallways or more remote areas of buildings.

The included PoE+ power adapter also features an additional Gigabit LAN port for integration into the home network or for connecting wired devices.

When used indoors, the repeater can be connected to the FRITZ!Box via either LAN or Wi-Fi. This makes the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor a versatile all-round solution for demanding Wi-Fi scenarios in both home networks and professional environments.

When used in a Wi-Fi Mesh with a FRITZ!Box, the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor integrates seamlessly into the home network with intelligent repeating and smart distribution of bandwidth across all connected devices.

This ensures fast and stable connections even when many devices are active at the same time. Additional Mesh Wi-Fi devices can be added at the push of a button.
