Shelly PRO LoRa Add-on is a galvanically isolated communication module that extends the range of selected Shelly Pro devices with wireless LoRa communication up to 5 km. It mounts on the DIN rail alongside the host device and connects via Shelly's proprietary serial interface. An external SMA antenna is included and can be extended or upgraded for better coverage — for example, when the device is installed inside a metal enclosure.
Low RF power below 14 dBm and EU868 low-power mode ensure reliable operation without duty cycle limitations under normal use. Two LED indicators (RX and TX) show communication status directly on the device. The add-on supports custom scripting and can work with Bluetooth on the host device to forward data from Shelly BLU devices over LoRa. Note: A minimum of two LoRa modules is required to establish LoRa communication — either two Pro devices with PRO LoRa Add-on or a combination with Shelly LoRa Add-on. Compatible with Shelly Pro 1, 1PM, 2, 2PM, 3EM, EM-50, RGBWW PM and PRO Dimmer 0/1-10V PM, 1PM, and 2PM (firmware 2.0 or later).
