Fiber Fault Checker is a small and lightweight device that emits a visible red laser. It can be used to check single and multi-mode optical fibers very effectively. Connected to the fiber optic cable via fiber optic connector. The red laser can be used as a reference point and to locate the point where the fiber optic cable has failed, which the OTDR cannot find (fiber optic cable break; start and end) and the area of high bending loss.
It is ideal for passive fiber network elements patchcord, pigtail, fiber core box or bare fiber cable.
