FRITZ!Box 6860 5G Edition International

High-Speed Internet over 5G for Indoor and Outdoor Use

The new FRITZ!Box 6860 5G brings ultra-fast internet over 5G mobile networks to the wireless home network at speeds of up to 1.3 Gbit/s. As a fixed wireless access solution, it supports 5G (NSA, SA) and LTE. With powerful Mesh Wi-Fi using Wi-Fi 6, it provides wireless data coverage at speeds of up to 3 Gbit/s throughout the home.

The compact design combined with both power and data via Power over Ethernet means the versatile FRITZ!Box 6860 5G can be used both indoors and outdoors. A DECT base station for telephony and Smart Home applications completes its versatile range of features.

Mobile High-Speed Internet with 5G – Enjoy the Best Connection Across Europe

The FRITZ!Box 6860 5G supports 5G Standalone (5G-SA) and 5G Non-Standalone (5G-NSA), as well as 4G and 3G. This makes it ideal for use throughout Europe and allows it to make optimal use of the 4G network in areas without 5G coverage thanks to LTE Advanced Pro (Category 19).

Carrier Aggregation – the flexible combination of cells from different frequency ranges – and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) ensure optimal connections in almost any network configuration.

The four mobile network antennas of the FRITZ!Box provide 4 × 4 MIMO connections, allowing even more bandwidth-intensive applications to be used simultaneously throughout the home network.

Independent Power Supply, Flexible and Easy to Install

With power supplied via Power over Ethernet and its upright housing, the compact FRITZ!Box 6860 5G can be flexibly installed inside the home, on a wall or window, or outdoors. Its IP54-rated housing provides protection against dust and splashing water.

A router bracket for outdoor use and a PoE power adapter are included. In addition to the signal LEDs, the practical alignment assistant helps users find the best position for the FRITZ!Box 6860 5G's mobile network antennas.

The Connect button on the side makes it easy to register Wi-Fi, DECT and other Mesh devices.

Mesh Wi-Fi Convenience with Wi-Fi 6

The FRITZ!Box 6860 5G offers Wi-Fi 6 speeds of up to 2400 Mbit/s on 5 GHz and 600 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz.

As a Mesh Wi-Fi hub, it ensures optimal network coverage by allowing all FRITZ! devices to form a common Mesh network and optimising Wi-Fi performance.

When installed outdoors, it can be combined with a FRITZ!Repeater or another FRITZ!Box, such as the FRITZ!Box 4050, via the LAN port on the included PoE power adapter to improve Wi-Fi and DECT coverage indoors.

Versatility for Telephony and Smart Home

The FRITZ!Box 6860 5G integrates a DECT base station that supports both Smart Home and telephony applications. Up to six cordless telephones and ten IP telephones can be used via the internal SIP registrar.

Telephony is carried out using the SIM card's mobile number via VoLTE/VoNR or alternatively via VoIP/SIP. Up to five answering machines, fax and SMS are integrated, and messages can be forwarded by email.

Even door intercom systems can be connected via DECT or IP/SIP.
