C-TECH GKB-18 Renegade: Lightning-Fast Speed and Revolutionary HAIMU Magnetic Switches
The C-TECH GKB-18 Renegade wired gaming keyboard is designed for gamers who refuse to compromise on speed, durability, and desk space. It represents a modern evolution of mechanical keyboards, where traditional mechanics are replaced by advanced Haimu Magnetic switch technology.
Magnetic switches (Magnetic/Hall Effect switches) represent the biggest technological leap in gaming keyboards over the past decade. Unlike classic mechanical switches, which rely on the physical contact between two metal plates, magnetic switches operate on the principle of the Hall effect — a magnet is located inside the switch stem, and a sensor on the keyboard’s printed circuit board (PCB) measures the strength of the magnetic field in real time.
Rapid Trigger technology for instant response: The key responds as soon as it detects your finger moving down and deactivates immediately the moment you lift your finger—regardless of where the switch is at that moment. This system eliminates the so-called “reset point” found in conventional keyboards. In practice, this means lightning-fast counter-strafing in shooters (CS2, Valorant) or extremely rapid repeated keystrokes in rhythm and action games.
Contactless operation and maximum lifespan: The absence of physical contacts dramatically reduces mechanical friction. The result is a perfectly smooth, linear keystroke and significantly higher resistance to wear and tear as well as gradual contact failure.
The keyboard is designed in a compact 68-key layout, saving valuable desk space for wider and smoother mouse movements at low sensitivity, without sacrificing important navigation keys and arrow keys.
It also features full anti-ghosting support for flawless detection of any number of simultaneously pressed keys, as well as 7 quick-access keys for convenient access to multimedia and key functions.
The gaming setup’s atmosphere is enhanced by striking RGB backlighting with 18 dynamic modes and 3 brightness levels. A 1.5-meter USB 2.0 cable with Plug and Play support ensures a stable connection for immediate use without the need to install drivers.
