Den Braven Gasket Sealant (red) is a professional grade acetate silicone designed for the most demanding automotive, engineering and household applications. Its extreme thermal stability and corrosion protection make it an ideal replacement for conventional solid gaskets.
This 50ml tube is the most popular choice for motorcyclists and DIYers - offering enough material to completely reseal engine parts without having to buy a large cartridge and application gun.
Key Features:
Extreme durability.
Chemical stability.
Permanent elasticity: The joint does not crack, remains elastic and absorbs vibration and thermal expansion.
Corrosion protection: safe for metal flanges and joints.
Typical applications:
Auto-moto: Sealing of oil pans, gearboxes, differentials and water pumps.
Home: Repair of steam irons, hot air lines and heating systems.
Industrial: Sealing boiler flanges, furnace doors, collars and high temperature piping.
How to do it? The substrate must be clean and degreased. Apply silicone directly from the tube to one side of the joint, press the surfaces together and allow to cure. The tube makes it easy to get into hard-to-reach places in the engine compartment.
Technical parameters: Base: Acetate silicone.
