The Thinkware F200PRO REAR IR is an interior add-on camera designed for the Thinkware F200PRO dashcam. It was designed to monitor the interior of the vehicle and, thanks to its built-in infrared illuminator, provides high-quality footage even in complete darkness. It is ideal for taxi services, ambulances, emergency response vehicles, courier services, and other professional applications where it is necessary to record events inside the vehicle.
The camera uses a 2.12-megapixel CMOS sensor and records in Full HD resolution. The wide 160° field of view captures most of the vehicle’s cabin and provides a detailed view of passengers and events inside the car.
Integrated IR LEDs automatically activate infrared illumination in low-light conditions. As a result, the camera captures clear footage during nighttime driving and even in complete darkness without any distracting interior lighting.
Video recordings, including audio, are saved as separate files on the memory card of the Thinkware F200PRO main dashcam. This simplifies the management and subsequent playback of recordings.
In parking mode, the camera supports motion detection, which helps monitor activity around the vehicle even while it is parked. This allows it to record unauthorized entry into the vehicle or other unwanted activity.
The compact cylindrical design allows for discreet installation inside the vehicle without obstructing the driver’s view. The unit is engineered for reliable operation across a wide range of operating temperatures.
