Bluetooth is used for the initial pairing of the camera with your phone over a short distance. No more entering passwords or searching for networks on your phone. The first time, simply launch the DASH CAM LINK app and press the button on the camera. The next time you launch the app, the camera will connect automatically via Wi-Fi.
