Thinkware U1000 Plus – Real-Time Remote Vehicle Monitoring
The Thinkware U1000 Plus takes dash cam capabilities to a whole new level thanks to advanced internet connectivity and remote access to your vehicle from anywhere in the world. The camera automatically connects to saved Wi-Fi networks or mobile hotspots, allowing users to monitor what’s happening around their vehicle in real time via their smartphone.
Once connected to the internet, you can view a live feed from the camera at any time, check the vehicle’s status, or receive instant alerts about events recorded while parked. If an incident occurs, the system sends a push notification directly to your phone, so you can stay informed about the situation no matter where you are.
For maximum internet connection reliability, you can use a mobile Wi-Fi router or a smartphone hotspot. After initially registering the Wi-Fi network, the camera automatically connects whenever a recognized network is within range. This eliminates the need to repeatedly reconfigure the connection.
The camera is managed through two specialized Thinkware apps. DASH CAM LINK is used for local management via a direct Wi-Fi connection, while THINKWARE CONNECTED provides remote access via the internet, as well as management of alerts and trip history.
Bluetooth technology simplifies the initial pairing with your phone without the need to search for networks or enter passwords. After the initial setup, the connection is established automatically via Wi-Fi.
Thanks to the Thinkware Connected system, you can monitor your vehicle even while it’s parked, receive incident alerts, and download important videos directly to your smartphone. Additionally, the My Route feature allows you to save your route history while the camera remains continuously connected to the internet during your drive.
