The Eltrinex LS700 4K GPS car camera is equipped with a suction-type quick-release magnetic mount with power supply, following the LS400 model, which was the winner of the UAMK benchmark test. The integration of the power supply in the mount eliminates the need to constantly plug and unplug the power cable. The camera just needs to be gently inserted into the mount, which automatically activates the power supply and starts recording.
When the camera is disconnected from the mount, recording stops and the camera is switched off.
The LS700 now also allows the connection of a rear camera (not included). In addition, it is the first dashcam on the market to come with a convenience solution that eliminates the need to manually connect the rear camera cable each time the front camera is connected.
The rear camera remains permanently connected to the power bracket and once the user plugs in the front camera, the power to the rear camera is automatically activated if installed.
Another revolutionary new feature is the addition of a mechanical lock to the magnetic camera mount, which prevents the risk of the camera coming loose from bumps or shocks. The mechanical lock is designed to release as soon as the user grasps the camera to remove it from the mount.
The LS700 GPS car camera is equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology, which is designed to enhance safety and comfort while driving. It provides early warning of potential road hazards and reduces the consequences of human error. With ADAS technology, the road is safer and more comfortable.
Speed limit sign detection allows the camera to recognize traffic signs and maintains information about the speed limit on the road your vehicle is traveling on. It can also alert you to its compliance.
If a traffic light with a green light is detected in the camera's field of view, the LS700 can report this fact. This eliminates unnecessary braking on less clear stretches of road, typically in cities. In the event of waiting at a traffic light, it can then alert you when the light changes from red to green. No more honking cars behind you while you check your phone at speed at traffic lights.
The lane detection system alerts you the moment a vehicle accidentally leaves its lane. This helps you keep the right direction and reduces the risk of accidents. The vehicle detection function then monitors the safe distance in front of you. If the distance is too close, the LS700 will warn you to keep a safe distance.
The STOP&GO system is used to warn you when the vehicle in front of you is moving off, for example when you are in a traffic jam.
