Flexible PCIe 5.0 storage connection for U.2 NVMe SSDs
Connecting two drives via a single port:The MCIO x8 host port is split into two SFF-8639 U.2 ports. This allows you to connect two compatible U.2 NVMe SSDs. Using PCI Express 5.0:The cable supports PCI Express 5.0 and is therefore suitable for high-performance storage solutions with high data transfer rates. Using a separate power supply:Each SFF-8639 connector features a separate power cable with a 15-pin SATA connector to supply power to the connected drive. Suitable for various system configurations:The cable can be used in servers, workstations and storage systems with the appropriate MCIO x8 and U.2 infrastructure.
The InLine® MCIO cable is suitable for setting up and expanding storage solutions with U.2 NVMe SSDs. The PCIe connection is split across two drive ports, thereby enabling the integration of two compatible U.2 drives via a single MCIO x8 host port. The separate SATA power connectors provide direct power to the two connected drives. With cable lengths of 0.5 m, 0.75 m and 1 m available, you can select the connection that best suits your specific installation scenario.
