The USB extender extends USB 1.1 connections up to 60 m by linking the transmitter and receiver units via a Cat.5/5e/6 patch cable with RJ45. This allows you to operate scanners, printers or cameras at a greater distance from the PC. If required, a 5 V/2 A DC supply can be enabled; on the PC side an active USB hub is recommended to avoid overloading the USB port.
In professional IT environments, for on-site deployments and in service operations, the system uses existing infrastructures efficiently. It also enables clean, flexible placement of USB peripherals along existing cable routes in companies and public institutions.
