The programmable single-cable outlets of the ESU 50 series ensure interference-free reception in single-cable satellite systems.
With the help of these single-cable outlets, it is possible to pre-program the user bands. The single-cable outlets feature a micro-controller which monitors the signalling inside single-cable installations. User ID checks ensure that only the enabled user bands are transmitted from the end device to the multi-switch via the outlet.
The "Kathrein ESU" app, along with the programming device SWP 50 makes it possible to configure the single-cable outlets of the ESU 50 series.
Configuring a single-cable outlet makes sure that devices connected to it can only use the enabled user bands. If an end device is configured incorrectly, is incompatible with a single cable system, or is in initial installation mode, devices connected to other programmable outlets will not be affected by this. The interference-free operation of the entire single-cable satellite system across several residences is thereby ensured on a permanent basis.
For configuration, please use the "Kathrein ESU" app. The app is available free of charge for Android, iOS and Windows. With this app you can lock or enable user bands quickly and intuitively. In addition, you can protect the configuration of each outlet against unauthorised changes by using a PIN code.

Why do I find that the same product is available on different item numbers?

We try our best to unify the products, but it can happen that the same product appears on different item numbers in our system.
