The Homematic IP Pluggable Dimmer is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and supports dimming and switching of plugged-in lamps. The dimming actuator has been designed as compact plug adapter and thus does not block the surrounding sockets. As the device is a trailing edge dimming actuator, it is especially compatible for dimming and switching classic incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, dimmable energy-saving lamps as well as most dimmable LED lamps. The fully electronic trailing edge dimming actuator is optimized especially for energy saving light sources with a switching capacity between 3 and 80 VA. Modern electronics provides operation without any noise emission. The light output can be dimmed in 0.5 percent steps directly on the device itself or wirelessly via remote control, a push-button or the free smartphone app.
