The Homematic IP Window / Door Contact for invisible installation offers inconspicuous monitoring of doors and windows within the Homematic IP smart home system. In just a few single steps, the 15 mm flat sensor is fastened to the inside of plastic frames where it reliably detects the current status of the window via a light barrier. Once mounted, the window / door contact takes care of automatic reduction of the room temperature during ventilation or triggers the Homematic IP Siren in case of unauthorized access by third parties. An integrated tamper contact reliably detects an unwanted manipulation or disassembly of the sensor. In addition, the Homematic IP app displays the corresponding status at any time.
