With TECHNIROUTER 5 / 1x16, you configure a single-cable converter distribution system and deliver to 16 subscribers complete TV programs via satellite (eg HOTBIRD 13 ° East) and terrestrial signal via one cable. Existing cable constructions in residential buildings can be used without laying new cables. If more than 16 decoders are required in the installation, an additional 5 / 1x16 TECHNIROUTER can be cascaded to the main line outputs. Digital satellite channel router (SCR) technology is used in accordance with the EN50494 / EN50607 standard, which powers the receivers without software restrictions. Multiple tuner (PVR) devices can also be operated to the full extent without laying the antenna cables. TECHROUTER 5 / 1x16 compensates for the attenuation losses that lead to fluctuations in the level of the received satellite signal, thanks to the built-in Automatic Gain Control (AGC).
