JJC LH-AD06 Lens Hood is dedicated to Tamron AF 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical [IF] Macro (Model: A14), AF 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6 XR Di Aspherical [IF] Macro (Model: A031) and AF28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD Aspherical [IF] Macro (Model: A061) lenses. The hood helps to minimize flare by deflecting stray light from entering the lens. In addition, the "petal" shape of this lens hood maximizes the amount of hood coverage for the minimum amount of weight and hood area. There is no vignetting with the hood on. The hood allows you to put on filters and a lens cap. The hood can also be placed backwards over the lens for compact storage. The hood provides additional protection for the lens from accidental impacts, bumps, and scratches. JJC LH-AD06 Lens Hood replaces Tamron AD06 lens hood.
