Safe, reliable and environmentally friendly with electric arc instead of flame – this is how candles, lanterns, gas cookers, BBQs or fireplaces are lit today. Disposable lighters are bad for the environment, refill lighters run out of gas or gasoline when you most needed them.
TFA’s arc lighter works with an electric arc and it can be easily and economically charged via micro-USB cable – on the laptop or PC, or the power bank – just like your smartphone. An LED light indicates when the battery is running low and after 1.5 – 2 hours of charging time, it’s ready for use again. The charging cable is included.
This practical device has even more advantages over conventional lighters: Since it doesn’t produce an open flame, it ignites in windy conditions and stormy weather, thus it’s safer to use. When pressing the button, the arc builds up immediately between the electrodes.
A protective cover prevents unwanted ignition. As soon as you release the button the arc is automatically interrupted after 10 seconds at the latest.
The device can be operated safely and conveniently thanks to its shape. Additional versatility is provided by the movable neck, which can be aligned as desired.
